Day 1: Mikkira Station & Kangaluna camp
from the coast to the outback
Depart Adelaide Airport with Qantas Airlines arriving at Port Lincoln 08:45 to be met by your tour leader.
Koala Mikkira Station, Port Lincoln, SA
First visit a colony of wild koalas at Mikkira Station near Port Lincoln before travelling through farming land to Wudinna, population 600, stopping for lunch along the way.
You will pass Wudinna Rock as we travel into the outback to Kangaluna Camp. After a rest at Kangaluna, your wildlife experience continues with an afternoon tour to see the outback animals that thrive in this natural environment. You can expect to see three species of kangaroos, emus and many birds, returning to Kangaluna after sunset drinks at Kolay Mirica Rocks (organ pipe formations).

Day 2: Lake Gairdner & Gawler Ranges wildlife
See the Australian wildlife run & bound around you
In the morning we drive to the spectacular Lake Gairdner, which is like a piece of Antarctica, with its glistening white salt pan set in the middle of a red landscape. Here you can walk on the lake surface, take interesting perspective and landscape photos and enjoy this spectacular panorama.
On the return journey walk along Boundary Gorge and you can see emus and kangaroos (reds, western greys and euros) as we drive through the ancient outback back to Kangaluna.

Day 3: Gawler Ranges National Park
Organ Pipe formations
This morning is leisurely and allows plenty of time to walk in the Corrobinnie Valley over the fascinating coloured rocks. Drive a sandy track through the bush to Yandinga Valley where cigar shaped volcanic rock formations can be seen, which are 1600 million years old, the magnificent Organ Pipes Amphitheatre and lots of wildlife.
In the afternoon we visit Pildappa Wave Rock and travel back to Kangaluna Camp along Lake Sturt..

Day 4: Gawler Ranges National Park
See the Australian wildlife run & bound around you
A different geology is the focus this day; we visit Corrobinnie Rocks, a large granite outcrop with huge hollow boulders, patterns and colours. We will see local history, spectacular views and again more animals.
Return to Wudinna or Port Lincoln at 5.00pm. (BL)
If travelling with participants of Outback to the sea and returning to Port Lincoln, you will be taken to some coastal features while the sealion tour is taking place
Tour can depart from Wudinna where vehicles can be stored safely for self drivers.
